A project allowing the students to build their confidence and skills in different media. The oil pastel transfer helped students show they could produce something effective and creative in a relatively simple way. The watercolour resist then helped build students media knowledge and colour theory. It allowed us to talk about how to create a steampunk colour palette by using the complementary colours to mute the bright colours.
